Japanese Food

Have you ever wanted to be able to make your own sushi rolls? But worried about cooking rice ? Or just don’t know where to start?

Led by Katsu Umetsu, a skilled cook with a passion for sharing the flavors of his homeland, our workshops explore the art of creating delicious and healthy Japanese-style dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

We keep it simple!

Our workshops are designed to be accessible for all ages and skill levels, offering a wonderful opportunity to explore and enjoy the authentic flavours of traditional Japanese home-cooked meals.

Bespoke Workshops:

With Ibuki as our guiding principle, we use the power of our breath to connect with the food we prepare and the people we share it with, creating a sense of community and shared experience.

Through hands-on experiences, participants can engage in the process of preparing various simple yet delightful Japanese dishes. From beloved family classics to comforting favourites, our workshops offer a diverse array of authentic recipes to savour.

Suitable for all ages and skill levels, our Japanese food workshops are the perfect way to discover the richness and diversity of Japanese cuisine.

Katsu made it seem so simple, and I am so happy I can now make my own sushi rolls!
